About the Program

This Child Protection in Emergencies training is designed to build the practical skills and knowledge needed to keep children safe during crises. Participants will explore the risks children face in emergencies and learn how to apply the minimum standards for child protection in humanitarian settings.

The course covers key areas such as prevention, preparedness, and response, along with the role of coordination in effective protection efforts. It also helps participants strengthen their leadership and collaboration skills in both formal and informal emergency settings.

The training is offered both online and in person, giving participants the flexibility to choose what works best for them. A Certificate of Completion is awarded at the end of the course to recognize the skills and knowledge gained.
