About Course

The Child Protection Training empowers professionals to create safe environments where children are protected from abuse, neglect, and exploitation. The program blends practical learning with global standards, helping participants design and manage effective child protection systems across humanitarian, education, and development settings.

Learners can enroll in virtual or in-person formats, earning a recognized certification that validates their expertise in child protection practice and system strengthening.

Objectives

By the end of this Child Protection Training Course, participants will be able to:

Module 2: Legal, Policy, and Institutional Frameworks

• National child protection systems and coordination mechanisms
• Institutional mandates and roles (government, NGOs, community actors)
• Enforcement of child rights laws and access to justice for children
• Case studies of successful policy implementation

Module 3: Identifying and Addressing Child Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation

• Understanding different forms of abuse (physical, sexual, emotional, neglect)
• Early detection and risk assessment tools

Delivery Method

This program is taught through a mix of practical activities, theory, group work and case studies. Training manuals and additional reference materials are provided to the participants.
