This Community Health and Nutrition Training covers the key principles of food, diet, and nutrition to improve health outcomes in communities. You will learn about essential nutrients, balanced diets, and child feeding practices that support nutrition security.

The course examines nutrition needs across all stages of life, from pregnancy and infancy to adulthood and older age. It highlights global and national guidelines for infant and young child feeding, with a focus on the benefits of breastfeeding for individuals and communities.

You will explore common nutrition problems such as malnutrition and micronutrient deficiencies, their causes, effects, and strategies to address them. The training also covers household food security, its challenges, and nutrition education strategies aimed at encouraging behavior change.

This program is offered both virtually and in person, with certification awarded upon completion to validate your skills and knowledge in community health and nutrition.

By the end of this Community Health and Nutrition Training, the participants will be able to;
